The fact is, a few hours spent in your garage along with a few hundred dollars worth of parts is all you need to surprise a lot of the kids around town and to quiet some of the barge-pilots who've squandered thousands, equipping their unfortunate machines with triple-chrome-plated aftermarket ordure that does nothing but deplete the pot-metal mines and enrich some canny marketers.
